So sorry about another late Marilyn post but I was in Chicago for the long weekend and I just got back! While I was there I had the opportunity to visit the Marilyn statue by Seward Johnson!!! I know there is a lot of negative press about this statue but I have to say that I was really impressed by it. I thought the artist did a great job of capturing Marilyn's likeness and the statue itself, despite it's size, is very "real" looking. I have posted some photos of the statue from my trip, let me know what you think!

I know it's only from a picture, but it seems to me that the artist captured her pretty well! I love the expression, it's so true to life.
